2006/2007 - CSEM Survey
3 February 2007

CSEM (Controlled Source ElectroMagnetic) survey commenced. Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc ("OHM") will use the vessels, 'CS Teneo' and 'MV Energy Miner' (formerly named 'Sakawe Miner'), to acquire a series of CSEM lines over FOGL's top 20 prospects and leads.

Results

CSEM Survey completed.

Processing and interpretation of the results will take up to 6 months to complete.

Objective

Raise detection rates

Reduce risk

Highlight the best prospects for drilling.

How does it work?

CSEM defines resistive anomalies in the subsurface and can be used as a direct hydrocarbon indicator. The interpretation of this data, when constrained by high quality seismic, can substantially reduce the risk on an exploration prospect.
